Setup Instructions
Choose a Location
● Find a grassy area that is free of rocks, sticks, and other sharp objects. Avoid concrete or pavement.
● A slight downhill slope can make sliding easier, but it's not necessary.
Lay Out the Slide
● Unroll the inflatable Slip 'N Slide on the ground.
● Make sure it’s fully spread out with no folds or wrinkles.
Inflate the Slide
● Use an air pump/or air blower to inflate any built-in bumpers and arches that keep water on the slide.
Connect a Garden Hose
● Attach a garden hose to the built-in sprinkler system or water sprayers.
● Turn on the water slowly and adjust the flow to ensure even coverage across the slide.
Add Extra Slipperiness (Optional)
● If needed, apply a little bit of dish soap or tear-free shampoo to make the surface even slicker.
● Be careful not to use too much, as it can make stopping harder.
How to Use It Safely
● Slide One at a Time – To prevent collisions, let one person slide before the next goes.
● Run, Dive, and Slide Feet-First or Stomach-First – Avoid sliding headfirst to prevent injury.
● Check for Obstacles – Make sure there are no hard objects in the landing area.
● Have a Soft Stop Area – If possible, place a padded surface (like an inflatable pool or soft grass) at the end.
Bonus Tips
● Supervise kids to ensure safety.
● Wear a swimsuit or clothing that won’t snag on the slide.
● Keep the slide wet at all times to avoid friction burns.
